Supporting Youth in Need: Partnering with Covenant House Toronto

The Shah Family Foundation is proud to announce a one-time donation of $20,000 to Covenant House Toronto, an organisation dedicated to helping homeless, trafficked, and at-risk youth reclaim their lives. For over 40 years, Covenant House has been a beacon of hope, offering crisis shelter, transitional housing, health care, life-skills training, and ongoing support to vulnerable youth aged 16 to 24.

This donation will directly support the BensKids Health Centre, Covenant House Toronto’s onsite health clinic. The clinic is named in honour of Ben, a generous donor’s beloved dog known for his love of children. To honour his unconditional love and the comfort he brought to those in need, Ben’s owners made a heartfelt donation to establish the clinic.

The BensKids Health Centre provides vital services to youth, including mental health care, sexual health services, and general medical treatment. Last year alone, it served over 630 youth through more than 4,700 visits, offering care to all, regardless of ID or health coverage.

The Shah Family Foundation is honoured to support Covenant House Toronto’s incredible work, ensuring vulnerable youth receive the care and dignity they deserve to thrive.
